Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse in the en_US - This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care to adult, geriatric, and medical/surgical patients in a telemetry unit. The role requires self-study of telemetry strips, passing a basic dysrhythmia test within the first week, and utilizing the electronic medical record system to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Must be proficient in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition through self-study and testing.
• Certifications and Education: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS certification, Epic EMR experience in a similar unit within the past 12 months, self-study of telemetry strips upon acceptance, and passing a basic dysrhythmia test.
• Additional Information: The candidate may be required to float to other campuses, including the West Burlington or Henry County campus. While primarily not on a regular call rotation, occasional on-call duties may occur, requiring response within one hour.
