Operating Room (First Assistant) Various Locations
This position involves providing advanced surgical assistance within the operating room environment, focusing on OB-GYN procedures such as cesarean sections and robotic surgeries, as well as general surgeries including robotics. The role requires active certification and credentialing, working under direct supervision of surgeons to support patient care during surgical procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Active Oregon RN License; successful completion of an RNFA program meeting AORN standards; RNFA credentialing through either the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA); placement on the Oregon RNFA Registry; minimum of 2 years of RNFA experience, with a focus on OB-GYN and general surgery including robotics; prior travel experience required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Applicants must be willing to take OB call only (one week on, one week off). All travel submissions require 2+ years of experience and prior travel history. No local candidates will be accepted. All applicants must meet specialized credentialing and state certification standards.
