Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, L&D Specialty, location not specified. This position involves providing dedicated obstetrical care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases, utilizing the nursing process according to hospital policies and state Nurse Practice Acts. The role requires ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.

Job Details

• Certifications and Qualifications: Valid certifications including Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift; 8-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week. Position start date is 08/24/2026, with an end date of 11/14/2026.
• Position Responsibilities: Providing obstetrical care in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases. Demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Delegating patient care priorities as appropriate and maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education. Delivering supervision and direction to assigned nursing personnel.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certifications in NRP, STABLE, BLS, ACLS, and experience, education, or training in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be prepared to provide required certifications upon request, with the ability to start by the specified date.
