Job Summary
Medical Surgical Float Position in Green Bay, WI This role involves providing skilled nursing care within a variety of medical-surgical units at a healthcare facility. The Float Nurse will support the organization by floating as needed across observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care units to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Med Surg Float Team RN, PM shift, at a healthcare facility in Green Bay, WI.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN or Compact license, BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certification (preferred; required prior to end of orientation), Associate Degree or Certificate, 1-2+ years of general Med/Surg experience, experience with venipuncture and Cardizem, port, Foley/straight cath, and stable drips. Previous travel experience preferred.
• Shift: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Schedule: PM shift, 3 pm to 11:30 pm, guaranteed 36 to 48 hours per week, with potential overtime after 48 hours.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, supporting multiple units based on clinical needs.
• Additional Information: Candidates must begin compliance for the medical portion within 48 hours of accepted offer. Epic charting experience strongly preferred within the past 2 years.
• Submission Requirements: Attach BLS and NIHSS certifications upon submission.
