Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Location: unspecified. This position involves providing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages in an acute care hospital setting. The role requires expertise in sterile vaginal exams, obstetric procedures, and high-risk delivery support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Current ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, and NRP certifications; must have expert experience performing sterile vaginal exams independently; minimum of 1 year of relevant labor and delivery experience; valid license in the state of practice (compact license accepted); at least 1.5 years of experience preferred; must be open to working weekends and a flexible schedule.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system required.
• Must be willing to float between units, including mother-baby, as needed.
• Candidates are expected to work every other weekend, with additional shifts possibly exceeding this schedule to meet unit needs.
• Must include responses to questions about prior experience at a healthcare provider facility and provide two references covering the last three years during the compliance process.
• Candidates should be prepared to commit to working three of the five major holidays and adhere to specified scheduling and RTO policies.
