Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Days Shift 09/07/2026 to 12/07/2026, Full-time. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients within a specialized unit, ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan, and promoting patient safety and recovery. The RN will supervise ancillary staff and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications and Qualifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only). Minimum two years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; develop individualized care plans; document all assessments, interventions, and responses accurately; participate in patient rehabilitation programs; initiate discharge planning and patient teaching; communicate changes in patient status effectively; delegate tasks appropriately; ensure personal and environmental safety; contribute to team building; manage supplies and equipment efficiently; assume charge responsibilities after orientation; actively pursue professional growth.
• Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, participate in team and safety initiatives, and support continuous quality improvement efforts.
