Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (Specialty) nurse is needed in en_US. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. The Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse will assist physicians during advanced surgical procedures involving cardiopulmonary bypass, trans-esophageal echocardiogram studies, and vascular interventions.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, professional standards, and specialized cardiovascular procedures. The nurse will perform assessments, formulate care plans, and ensure optimal patient outcomes during complex cardiac surgeries.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and a minimum of one year RN experience. Additional certifications or continuing education may be required based on practice area.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must have skills related to cardiovascular procedures and surgical assistive tasks, including cardiac and vascular lab test interpretation, and assist during surgeries involving cardiopulmonary bypass and other advanced equipment.
• Submission: Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate clinical competencies appropriate for cardiovascular operating room nursing and participate in first-year training programs as necessary.
