Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse in St. Louis, Missouri. This position involves working within a high-volume, high-acuity diagnostic and interventional percutaneous coronary intervention environment. The role requires providing conscious sedation, assessing vitals, documenting in the electronic patient record system, and supporting various cardiac procedures.

Job Details

• Position: RN/Cath Lab
• Shift Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, rotating with late and close shifts as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Active license in Missouri or valid compact license, ACLS and BLS certifications, minimum of one year of experience in interventional catheterization; experience in high-volume, high-acuity cath lab settings preferred; non-local candidates only (must reside at least 75 miles from the facility).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures, Impella, IABP, and confidence in providing conscious sedation in a Level 1 trauma, high-volume cath lab environment.
• Additional Responsibilities: Assist with diagnostic and interventional PCI procedures, provide conscious sedation, hand sterile supplies, assess vitals, and document thoroughly in EPIC. Cross-training to operate hemodynamics is likely.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; must pass Relias EKG exam.
• License: License must be in hand at the time of submittal.
• Schedule: 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, with call as needed, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Call rotations include 1-2 nights weekly and every 2-4 weekends.
• Other Requirements: Must pass COVID-19 vaccination assessment; Flu vaccination required unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
