Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not specified. The ER Nurse will provide high-quality, fast-paced care in a Level I Trauma Center environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity. This position offers an opportunity to work within a magnet and teaching hospital, requiring experienced professionals capable of handling critical situations.

Job Details

  • Position Description: The ER Nurse can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week, with a start date of 09/28/2026 and end date of 12/28/2026. The role involves interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, EPIC documentation, and Level I Trauma experience.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS. Education: Valid licensure in the state of practice; will need pending license approval if applicable. Experience: Usually 3 years of emergency room experience required, but candidates with 2-3 years of level I trauma center experience and experience from at least one travel assignment will also be considered.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Must pass Relias EKG exam. No float requirements specified. The role requires working in a high-volume, high-acuity department with a fast-paced environment, including behavioral health ED POD and rapid triage areas. The candidate should be experienced, positive, and capable of providing leadership in a critical care setting.
