Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Nursing - Nights - Border Region. Located at the border between emergency room and medical-surgical units, this role involves providing high-volume, rapid-paced patient care within scope, including complex diagnoses and various patient care procedures. The position requires working nights and rotating between border units, with a focus on delivering quality care in a fast-moving environment.

Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Nurse
• Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:30-08:00) - Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications and Education: Valid RN license in MD (or equivalent state license), BLS, ACLS, CPI required
• Experience: 0 years minimum required, with 2 years preferred, including experience with patient ratios of 6, charting (preferably in Epic), and experience in community hospital or LTAC settings preferred.
• Patient Care: Managing adult and geriatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, including ED admissions, trauma, and complex neurological cases, in a high-volume border environment with an average census minimum of 10 to up to 40 patients daily.
• Responsibilities: Administration of medications, IV management, advanced cardiac and respiratory care, invasive procedures, and coordination of multidisciplinary support services.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope across ED borders and to IMC units. The role involves working every other weekend and scheduled holidays as they fall. Orientation hours total 12.
