Job Summary
Labor and Delivery RN in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy labor and delivery unit equipped with advanced fetal monitoring systems and supportive technology. The role requires managing laboring patients, high-risk pregnancies, and assisting with obstetric emergencies in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Travel RN for Labor and Delivery at a dedicated womens pavilion with 15 labor rooms, 3 triage bays, and 2 operating rooms.
  • Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, beginning 09/14/2026 and ending 12/07/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN preferred). Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience in an acute care hospital setting, with competence in fetal monitoring interpretation, circulating Cesarean sections, and managing high-risk obstetric patients.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with operative vaginal deliveries, antepartum management, external cephalic versions, cerclages, NICU or newborn stabilization experience.
  • Additional Clinical Responsibilities: Management of labor inductions and augmentations, postpartum recovery, and neonatal stabilization.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates should demonstrate strong assessment skills, excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
