Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized care within a multidisciplinary ICU that treats neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional experienced in critical care settings to support patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details

Position: ICU Nurse
Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; ICU experience; BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS certification; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree highly desired
Additional Information: The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit utilizing various advanced technologies including ventilators, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and infusion pumps. The role involves performing a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
