Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, and performs nursing assessments, documentation, and patient education.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required prior to the first shift. A minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience in a healthcare setting is necessary. The role is based in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN performs comprehensive assessments within eight hours of admission, participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, and participates in discharge planning and patient teaching. The role includes supervising ancillary nursing staff, ensuring safety procedures, and actively contributing to a positive team environment.
