Job Summary
Telehealth Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Greenville, NC. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a 48-bed telemetry unit, focusing on adult patients with hematologic, oncologic, and complex medical conditions. The role emphasizes cardiac rhythm analysis, medication management, and patient education, supporting a variety of clinical needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

Position: RN - TELE at ECU Health Medical Center
Experience: 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required; RN Compact license accepted
Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association; ACLS - American Heart Association (preferred)
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, working 3 out of 4 holidays and 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule
Start Date: 10/05/2026
End Date: 01/03/2027
Patient Population: Primarily adult patients with hematologic or oncologic concerns, immunocompromised status, radiation complications, cardiac arrhythmia, complex fluid and medication management, and multi-system complications
Responsibilities: Administer chemotherapy, manage continuous infusion medications, conduct wound care, perform wound and chest drain dressing changes, operate central lines and tracheotomy patients, start IVs, draw labs, and monitor cardiac and vital signs via EKG and telemetry
Required Qualifications: RN license (compact accepted), 1 year of telemetry experience, BLS certification, ACLS certification (preferred), scheduled for nights, minimum 36 hours per week
Additional Information: Use of ancillary staff, self-scheduling, skill assessments including pharmacy and EKG exams during compliance process
