Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, MS The organization is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide patient care on a Medical Surgical unit. The role involves floating between units or facilities within a 35-mile radius to meet staffing needs and ensure optimal patient care.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Days
• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least 1 year of nursing experience, willingness to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius, and ability to work flexible hours.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical nursing and flexibility in schedule.
• Responsibilities: Providing compassionate patient care to a diverse adult population, including young adults through late adults, with a focus on renal and general medical patients. Assumes full responsibility for patient assessments, care planning, and documentation.
• Additional Information: Floating between units/facilities based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity. Travelers will always be notified prior to scheduled shifts if a float assignment is required.
