Job Details

• Position Description: Support clinical activities within the cardiac operating room, including assisting during procedures like CABG, thoracotomy, endovascular AAA repair, valve replacement, and pacemaker placement. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized surgical setting.
• Unit Information: Cardiac Operating Room with 2 OR suites, staffed by 6 team members (3 registered nurses, 3 certified surgical technologists).
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS; experience in the Operating Room and Open Heart Surgery; minimum of 0 years of experience; no specific education or degree requirements specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrubbing experience in cardiac procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
