Job Summary
Cardiology Step Down Nurse specializing in Step Down Unit at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care for individuals with cardiac conditions, including pre/post caths, NSTEMIs, CHF, COPD, and other complex medical diagnoses. The position requires strong teamwork, communication skills, and significant cardiac experience.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS.
• Education/Experience: 1 year of experience in Telemetry, Intermediate Care, or Step Down Nursing.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must reside within 80 miles of the facility.
• Schedule: 12-hour days shift, every other weekend and holiday, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Managing titratable drips including insulin, heparin, nitro, and diltiazem. Monitoring cardiac rhythms via telemetry with 24/7 telemetry tech coverage. Assisting in providing care for patients with various cardiac and general medical conditions.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: Good communication, teamwork, strong work ethic, with a focus on cardiac-related skills and drip management.
• Submission Requirements: Must note if clinician has previously worked for Marshfield; if so, must have an end date at least 6 months prior to the submission date. Clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility.
