Operating Room (OR) Specialist in the region. This position involves providing specialized surgical support within a Level I Trauma Center, focusing on orthopedic, neuro, surgical oncology, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, and ENT cases. The role encompasses circulating independently, taking call, and maintaining a high standard of patient care in a fast-paced, outpatient-oriented environment.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS Certification required; minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include circulating independently, taking call as required, scrubbing in surgeries, and working with outpatient cases primarily on 2 West and 5 North units.
• EMR system used is EPIC; orientation includes training on both units and EPIC system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between 5 North and 2 West depending on experience.
• Additional Notes: Basic OR equipment provided; shifts include occasional weekends and holidays with a 20-30 hour standby call requirement every four weeks.
• Submission Requirements: Willing to wait for license verification; only one submission per candidate; unexpired drivers license required.
