Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Nights Location unspecified. This position involves providing independent, competent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. The role includes delivering routine and complex care, managing contingencies, making appropriate assignments, and delegating to other care providers as needed. The nurse will float across all Medical-Surgical departments under the supervision of the organization.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification via American Heart Association (AHA)
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Float: Float to all Medical-Surgical departments under the organization
• Nurse / Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• EMR Used: EPIC
• Dress Code: Grey Scrubs
• Additional Information: The position is a contractor replacement, starting as soon as possible, with a projected end date of 12/12/2026. No specific facility or hospital is named, and the role requires on-call commitment and rotation for weekend shifts.
