Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Derry, NH. This position involves providing specialized care in a 20-bed PCU within a hospital setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering critical patient care, recognizing dysrhythmias, managing cardiac drips, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
Job Details
- Certifications: Active compact licensing at submission, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NH RN (Registered Nurse) license at the time of submission.
- Education and Experience: No minimum years of experience required, but at least 2 years of hospital setting experience is preferred.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include patient care for cardiac, medical-surgical, and emergency department hold patients, utilizing GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps.
- Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience are essential.
- Prior experience in cardiac pre-post procedures, pacer patient care, and HCA environment is preferred.
- Candidates must demonstrate a self-directed, confident, positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Floating: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Must have active NH RN license and certifications at the time of submission.
