Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Weatherford, TX. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby. The position requires clinical expertise in obstetric procedures, neonatal care, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License. Temporary licenses will not be accepted.
• Education Requirements: Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Location Requirements: Must be authorized to work in Texas.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include circulating C-sections, immediate newborn care, labor support, postpartum assistance, and documentation in Meditech system.
• Unit details: 4 beds, patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1, no float policy.
• Additional requirements: Ability to scrub C-sections, ability to provide patient care during labor and recovery, and adherence to dress code policies including neat and clean appearance, scrubs provided by the facility, and body art coverage.
