This PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse position involves providing direct clinical care to patients within the recovery setting following surgical procedures. The role includes assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and supervising staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: The PACU Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a shift basis. The role includes supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The Nurse is accountable for supporting the facility Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management related to patient care.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, location requirements: [Location], 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The selected candidate will be responsible for direct patient assessment, care plan execution, and supervising the nursing team within the PACU. Candidates should demonstrate excellent clinical skills and teamwork capabilities.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
