Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a healthcare facility in the designated location. This role involves providing critical emergency nursing care in a busy 65-bed emergency department with specialized pediatric and mental health units. The position requires adaptability to rotating days, evenings, nights, and every other weekend shifts, ensuring continuous patient care coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day, evening, and night shifts with 12-hour shift hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience, with general ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
• Preferred Qualifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications are strongly preferred.
• Additional Information: Floating: Float rotation may be required; the unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:4 across various patient populations. The department utilizes the EPIC charting system and handles approximately 230 visits daily.
