Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a healthcare facility, working a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The role requires technical proficiency and the ability to work independently in an fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must have a valid Medical Assistant license at the time of submission; minimum of 2 years of experience as an ER nurse; must be open to floating to additional facilities as needed.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
- Additional Information: BILH cover sheet required at time of submission; EPIC electronic health record system experience required; first-day pass/fail test administered at orientation with a single attempt; two attempts allowed during onboarding to pass Relias testing. No monitor techs allowed must be able to read strips independently. Orientation occurs biweekly with upcoming sessions on 04/20, 05/04, etc.
- Candidates must have at least two years of ER experience and no recent employment at the organization within the last 6 months (including permanent, per diem, or contract roles).
