Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist for a position in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This role involves supporting cardiac catheterization procedures and ensuring adherence to safety and procedural standards within the unit.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Data Collection: 8/17/2026. Unit involves Cardiac Cath Lab with three procedure rooms and a team of nine staff members, including registered nurses and catheterization lab technologists. The team conducts a variety of procedures such as left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) insertions, watchman procedures, vascular electrophysiology ablations, and more.
  • Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). No minimum years of experience required.
  • Shift Details: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Support and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintain compliance with clinical policies, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working in a hybrid environment with both scheduled shift work and on-call duties, including one full weekend and two weekdays per schedule, totaling ten shifts. The candidate must be a team player and flexible in handling various responsibilities as outlined by unit policies.
