Job Summary
Telecommunications Nurse, Telemetry Specialty, located in Southern California. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines, and utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Nights
• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required; Advanced Cardiovascular Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required; no minimum experience specified.
• Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Support (ACLS) certification required; National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required.
• Additional Information: Responsible for collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessment data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating progress, collaborating with healthcare team members, providing education to patients and families, participating in discharge planning, delegating duties appropriately, and performing other related duties.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be qualified and available for the scheduled shift and must meet all specified certification and licensing requirements.
