Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a healthcare facility environment. This position involves providing specialized care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The role requires coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and well-being throughout the childbirth process.

Job Details

• Certifications: RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), NRP, AWHONN Certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring.
• Education Requirements: Valid RN license.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 0 years required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include circulating and transitional roles, with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 depending on acuity.
• The role involves working with beds, scrub attire in Caribbean blue, and managing electronic medical records in systems such as Medhost, Centricity, or CERNER.
• Additional operational requirements include ensuring all immunizations, background checks, and drug screenings are completed as per facility protocol.
• Travelers must include home address and social security number in the submission for approval.
• Previous experience in patient care within the labor and delivery specialty is preferred but not required.
