Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Nurse - Various Locations
This position involves providing specialized inpatient care on a 30-bed unit dedicated to patients with malignant hematologic disorders. The role includes participation in stem cell transplants and CAR-T infusions within a research-oriented environment, supporting clinical protocols and patient safety.

Position Description:
Providing care to patients with malignant hematologic disorders on a 30-bed inpatient unit. The unit conducts stem cell transplants and CAR-T infusions, with research protocols integrated into daily practice. Registered Nurses (RNs) will not be responsible for infusing stem cells or CAR-T cells but will support patient care within the units scope. -
Required Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License or State ID, UHS Submission Packet, UHS Prior Employment Form, UHS Skills Checklist, and a minimum of 1 year experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT). Current license in good standing and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider certification through the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) are mandatory. -
Schedule:
Day/Night rotations occurring every 2 weeks, with shifts typically from 0700 to 2330 or 2300 to 0730. Each shift is 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. -
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a hematology/oncology environment, research protocol support, and previous experience with stem cell or CAR-T therapies. -
Additional Information:
RN to patient ratio is 1:3-4 for day and evening shifts and 1:5 for night shifts. Travel RNs are not expected to infuse stem cells or CAR-T cells, but to provide clinical support and patient care on the designated unit.
