Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in surgical services is needed at a healthcare facility. This role involves supporting a diverse surgical environment with an emphasis on orthopedic, neuro, spine, and general procedures utilizing advanced robotics and technologies. The position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties.

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, including 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM, with night, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience; active license to submit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system; scrub color/dress code provided; orientation tailored to specialty areas.
• Responsibilities: Assist in a busy OR with 25-30 cases daily, including orthopedic trauma, neuro, and general surgeries. Support the surgical team by scrubbing in, providing patient care, and assisting during procedures. Ensure compliance with safety and clinical standards, including trauma and robotics cases.
• Additional Information: Unit comprises nine suites, with specific emphasis on trauma and robotics. During shifts, charge nurses may have assigned cases, and orientation varies from 3 days to two weeks depending on experience. Respond to call shifts within 30 minutes as per rotation needs.
