Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse in Canyon View Surgery Center. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including preoperative assessment, operative care plan implementation, and postoperative evaluation. The role requires ensuring patient safety and operating room efficiency within a surgical environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 32 hours per week
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: RN License, one (1) year of surgical experience, Bachelors Degree or equivalent, no minimum years of experience specified
- Responsibilities include performing preoperative assessments, assisting with surgery setup and procedures, preparing patients for surgery, conducting surgical counts, and assisting with operating room cleanup
- Assists in assembling equipment and supplies according to sterile technique and ensures proper disposal of used supplies and sharps
- Submission of correct social security number and date of birth in Medefis is required to avoid delays with onboarding
