Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing - Southern California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within the emergency department, following established standards of care and utilizing critical thinking skills. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during each shift.

Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs nursing staff, coordinates care across disciplines, and utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred), 3 years of experience in an acute care facility, and licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice. Certifications include Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Schedule: Evening shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The nurse will participate in patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, discharge planning, delegation, and team coordination. All medical and religious exemptions for required vaccination are accommodated as applicable.
