Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a Level IV Maternal Designation facility located in an environment that supports high-volume, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting, with a focus on maternal, neonatal, and emergency services.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; Registered Nurse Texas license; Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics; Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification; S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a Level IV Maternal Designation facility comprising multiple LDR suites, C-section suites, Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and ante-partum monitored beds. The hospital performs over 500+ deliveries per month with 24-hour in-house OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage. The department includes a dedicated Womens Emergency Department serving postpartum women and expanded GYN services.
