Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Located at the healthcare provider's facility, this position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. The role requires flexibility to float across multiple unit zones within a 60-mile radius, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while adhering to safety and clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, monitoring cardiac rhythms via Electronic Fetal Heart Monitorin, managing acute cardiac conditions, and collaborating with healthcare team members.
- The role involves floating within zone 2 locations, including ICU (performing low acuity holds within skillset), Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown, and Medical-Surgical Telemetry units.
- Must be in state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment.
- Charting is performed using Electronic Fetal Heart Monitorin.
