The organization is seeking a Telemetry Medical-Surgical Float Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in the Medicare and Geriatric care setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care across multiple units within a designated zone, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, clinical assessments, and collaborative care delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Shift: Nights; 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- End Date: 12/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years of recent MS-Telemetry experience; license to submit; flexibility for float roles within Zone 4; this position requires working in adult Geriatric populations, with additional skills such as prior neuro experience, and familiarity with Alaris and EPIC systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior neuro experience; experience with Alaris and EPIC.
- Additional Job Details:
- Assignments include working on multiple units, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehabilitation, renal, bariatrics, orthopedics, trauma, and emergency observation.
- Nurse-to-patient ratios are approximately 1:5-6 based on acuity levels.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of recent MS-Telemetry experience, with a preference for neuro experience.
- Must be able to titrate titratable drips such as Heparin.
- The role involves floating across different units within Zone 4, including general medical, surgical, and specialized units.
- Schedules are released 4 to 6 weeks in advance; flexibility is required to assist with gaps in staff scheduling.
- Night shift with occasional weekend work (6-9 weekends over a 6-week schedule); may be asked to participate in holiday rotation; call or standby are rare.
- First float assignment will be communicated on or before the start date.
- Charting is performed on EPIC; BSN is not required; license to submit is necessary.
