Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is available in a healthcare facility within Zone 3, based around the Denver City Center area. This role involves providing specialized critical care to high-acuity patients, with the ability to float across various units including ICU, PCU, Step-down, and Medical-Surgical Telemetry. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/14/2026 and end on 12/14/2026.
Job Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Zone 3 (Based around Denver City Center)
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS
- Education & Experience Requirements: Registered nurse license, 2 years of ICU experience; for first-time travelers, a minimum of 3+ years ICU experience required, with Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- No home base facility; candidate must be at least 60 miles from all listed facilities.
- Candidates must be available to work 6-9 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule and may be asked to participate in holiday rotations.
- Shifts may be canceled up to 4 times in a 13-week assignment.
- The role involves assisting with ventilators, Cpap, Bipap, high-flow oxygen, and troubleshooting telemonitors.
- Charting system used is EPIC.
- No provided license to submit through the IVS process; license needed to submit.
- Must submit a two-week notice to avoid back-out penalties.
