Job Summary
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced patient care in an acute care setting, with responsibilities including collaboration with medical teams and ensuring patient safety. The position requires adaptability to various acuity levels and the ability to float within designated zones.
Job Details
- Location: Healthcare facility (generic)
- Shift: Nights; 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 09/14/2026 and ending 12/28/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; valid license to submit
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours; minimum 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Candidate interview process includes an interview with the clinical team and no involvement from the unit manager. Candidates must be in state for the week of orientation, even if remote. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment. The charting system used is EPIC. Float rotation may be required within zone 2 locations, covering a 60-mile radius from the zone's city center, with paid travel time for floating to other locations.
