Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Specialist located in Illinois. This role involves providing advanced perioperative care in a specialized surgical setting, with responsibilities including assisting with cardiac procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout the operative process. The position requires flexibility to float to various clinical units as needed.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The role requires floating to clinically appropriate units within the scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies of the clinician. The shift is scheduled for days in the Cardiovascular Operating Room with call responsibilities, lasting 8 hours from 0600 to 1430, with minimum weekly hours of 40.
• Required Qualifications: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license, current CPR/BLS Card, ACLS certification, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Operating Room Open Heart specialty, and relevant certifications in intensive care and cardiovascular life support.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in various specialized hospital units including ICU, PCU, step-down, and emergency departments, requiring adherence to clinical competencies and certifications relevant to the role.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be licensed in Illinois and certified in CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, among others as specified.
