This position involves providing specialized care within a Medical Cardiac Telemetry unit, focusing on patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing services, including titration of specific drips and monitoring cardiac telemetry data to support patient recovery and stability.

Job Details

• Position Description: Unit 6 North Medical Cardiac Telemetry with a patient capacity of 32 beds, maintaining nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 during day shift and 1:6 during night shift.
• Required Qualifications: Valid AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, nursing license valid for practice, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and presence at the specified location.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working 36 hours per week, with rotations including weekends and holidays.
• Additional Information: RN staff are responsible for titrating drips such as Amio, Hep, Insulin, and Cardizem. There is a charge nurse on each shift who also takes an assignment. The unit utilizes GE tele monitors with virtual monitoring and strip reading responsibilities. RNs are expected to troubleshoot equipment like High Flow, Bipap, and BiPap ventilators for less than 24 hours.
