Description

Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in an acute care setting. This position involves working in a highly busy and fast-paced cardiovascular service line with the highest acuity levels in the area. The role requires strong cardiac experience to manage critical patient care effectively.

Job Details

Position Description: Extremely busy and fast-paced cardiovascular service line (excluding transplants). The ICU handles the highest acuity cases in the area, with a focus on cardiac patient care.
Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS; minimum of 2 years of experience; no specific educational requirements; license submission is required.
Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working every other week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The unit is characterized by its high patient volume and acuity of care. Charting is done using Cerner, transitioning to EPIC in November 2026.
Certification and Experience: Candidates must possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, and have at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
