Job Summary

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse Sioux City, Iowa. This travel assignment supports interdisciplinary patient care across orthopedic, urology, general surgery, oncology, and medical patient populations. The position requires high-acuity clinical capabilities, night-shift availability, and an assignment period from 11/23/2026 through 02/22/2027.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical and/or Oncology experience; active Iowa or compact nursing license; current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. American Heart Association (AHA) credentials are preferred. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification may be obtained during onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience and high-acuity care experience.
Additional Information: The Registered Nurse supports interdisciplinary patient care involving orthopedic, urology, general surgery, oncology, and medical cases. Required clinical experience includes administration or management of heparin, patient-controlled analgesia, and epidural therapies; chemotherapy may be administered when appropriately certified. Navy blue scrubs are required. Weekend coverage is every third weekend. Holiday coverage requires working two of the following three holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Years Day.
