Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse, Iowa, located at a healthcare facility, provides specialized care to patients requiring medical surgical and oncology services. The role involves contributing professional and clinical knowledge within an interdisciplinary team, with flexibility to float across local campuses as needed.
Job Details
- Position Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates via phone call or text from an area code 405. The nurse will contribute expertise in patient care and may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); valid state license in Iowa; drivers license; work history/resume; skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission; license verification; copy of all required certifications; supervisory reference required; minimum of 2 years of Med surg and/or Oncology experience; experience with high acuity care, drips including Heparin, PCA, epidural, and chemotherapy if certified; able to start on 09/14/2026 and end on 12/14/2026; drivers license required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
