Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Step Down Unit (STEP DOWN) professional in an inpatient healthcare setting. This position involves providing specialized care on a day shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on September 21, 2026, and ending on December 19, 2026. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, utilizing expertise in Epic electronic medical record systems.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in the specialty, travel experience preferred. Epic experience needed. Must already have an active compact or Alabama (AL) license.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: All candidates are expected to have a minimum of 2 years experience in the specialty with travel experience preferred. Clinical expertise in step-down care is essential to ensure patient safety and quality standards. Candidates must possess an active compact or AL license and have Epic EMR experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide proof of certifications and licensure prior to assignment.
