Job Summary
Postpartum Floor Registered Nurse (L&D PP) The organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced registered nurse to provide comprehensive care on the postpartum unit. The position involves supporting maternal and newborn health, with responsibilities including patient education, monitoring, and medication administration in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for providing high-quality postpartum and maternal-child care, including patient education and support for postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; license, certification, registration as a Registered Nurse (in the state where care is provided); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP); demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring, IV skills, lab draws, high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin), urine point of care testing, capillary blood glucose testing, and perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborns.
• Schedule: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Must have current ACLS certification.
