Job Summary
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse is based in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH). This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and Progressive Care areas, demonstrating expertise across departments, and ensuring patient safety through proper procedures and documentation. The position requires flexibility to support departmental needs and a commitment to working through the upcoming holiday season with minimal RTO dates.

Job Details

• Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) for a 25-bed CAH, specializing in Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Required Qualifications: Valid and active Washington (WA) nursing license, experience in MedSurg and telemetry or PCU settings, and at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN will identify patient education needs, implement safety and infection control procedures, operate and troubleshoot medical equipment, document patient care thoroughly, and communicate effectively with other departments. The role also involves maintaining supplies and emergency carts, supporting patient safety protocols, and documenting physician orders accurately.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to work through the upcoming holiday season with minimal RTO dates.
