Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Kansas City, MO. This position involves providing specialized patient care within a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit. Job Details

• Location: Kansas City, MO
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; 2 years of ICU experience; ability to read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips; experience with post cardiac procedural care including ablations, cardiac catheterizations, post-op open heart, and pacemaker placements; capable of administering and titrating IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone
• Additional Information: Must work full time hours including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period. Staff may be floated to other units where competency is demonstrated. Experience with IV insertions, NGT placement, chest tube maintenance, temporary pacemakers, and Foley insertions preferred.
• Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs, or black scrub pants with Navy Blue top.
