Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility in California. This role involves providing specialized, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory standards, and hospital policies. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and their families.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Clinical Nurse (CN) is an RN responsible for hands-on patient care, including assessing, interpreting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. The CN partners with patients and families to ensure comprehensive, family-centered care, and maintains professional development, including licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and current knowledge of critical care practices.
• Required Qualifications: CA-RN Certification, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, 0 years of experience, California location.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for rapid assessment, emergency response, patient education, and quality monitoring. They are expected to utilize clinical technology effectively and contribute to team-based improvements in patient care.
