Description
Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse located in the healthcare facility will provide critical patient care within a busy ICU setting. This role involves managing trauma, cardiac, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, and vascular cases, among other adult critical conditions, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must meet radius and licensure requirements; driver's license required at submittal.
- Schedule: Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Interpreting and documenting monitor strips, managing titratable cardiac drips, troubleshooting nasal cannula to vent systems, and assisting with patient care across adult critical cases.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Will provide care for patients with trauma, cardiac issues, stroke, renal failure, respiratory distress, and more. May be required to work every other weekend and at least two holidays during the contract period.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must have valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications and submit licensure.
