Job Summary

ORT (Operating Room Technician) Located in North Dakota, this position involves supporting a busy acute care facility with over 25 operating rooms. The role focuses predominantly on neuro procedures, with additional responsibilities in orthopedic, ENT, plastics, and general surgeries, including trauma cases. The technician will assist in surgical procedures and operate within a fast-paced environment, ensuring effective patient care and procedural support.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association); North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry; at least 2 years of experience in surgical or operating room settings; experience in neuro, orthopedic, ENT, plastics, general, or trauma surgeries; experience with systems such as Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Striker.
  • Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a large hospital environment, Level 1 trauma experience, robotics experience.
  • Responsibilities: Assist with neuro primary procedures, orthopedic, ENT, plastics, general, and trauma surgeries; support surgical teams with equipment such as Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Striker systems; work in a high-volume setting with 75 to 100 cases daily.
  • Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association).
  • Additional Information: Potential to float to other campuses, badge in/out at the facility, scrub color provided, and work schedule includes some call and extended shifts.
