Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a 36-bed unit, with a daily census of 18-25 patients. The role requires managing complex patient needs within a dynamic hospital environment, focusing on total hip replacement, abdominal hysterectomy, thyroidectomy, colectomy, sepsis, and other critical conditions.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state or compact license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, and at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an Interdisciplinary Support environment including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy; previous cardiology or trauma experience is advantageous.
• Responsibilites: Managing patient care using various skills including port management, blood product administration, chest tube care, IV therapy, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and care of surgical drains.
• Charting System: Epic.
• Additional Information: Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing; modules to be completed onsite during orientation.
• Submission Requirements: Valid license in hand at the time of submittal, RTO must be listed at the same time, previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler.
