Lactation and Delivery Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department This position is based at a healthcare facility dedicated to maternal and neonatal care. The role involves providing specialized nursing care during deliveries and supporting new mothers and infants in a dedicated nursery setting.

Job Details

• Position Description: Requiring at least 2 years of experience in Neonatal Care, with a focus on sick babies.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), STABLE (Stabilization of At-Risk Newborns), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Experience with neonatal and maternal care, current BLS, STABLE, and NRP certifications, at least 2 years of experience in nursery, and ability to attend every delivery.
• Additional Information: Nursery nurses do not float to other units in the hospital. They attend every delivery and care for the infants, with the nursery separate from the postpartum unit. The facility performs approximately 80-90 births per month.
