Job Summary
Operating Room Technician, ORT Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician Location Not Specified. This role involves supporting surgical procedures in a hospital setting, ensuring a sterile environment, and assisting surgical teams with necessary instruments and supplies. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and effective teamwork within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
Education Requirements: Certification as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician.
Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room setting.
Location Requirements: No specific geographic restrictions.
Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold current BLS certification, possess a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician certification, and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Additional Information: This role involves assisting surgical teams during procedures such as cataract extraction, ENT surgeries, joint fusions, endoscopic sinus procedures, and other specialist surgeries. Candidates should be familiar with aseptic technique, specimen handling, radiation safety, sharps safety, and use of surgical instruments. Candidates must complete required onboarding modules during orientation and provide accurate work history for verification.
